Cheap Schick Quattro Titanium Razors
Titanium is not just for engagement rings anymore. Now you can enjoy the experience of buying titanium without all the financial pain of blowing 3 months' salary.
Schick has coated their latest razor with titanium to give you a smooth, close, comfortable shave. It also comes with an ergonomically designed handle to make it easier to handle especially in the shower.
The Quattro Titanium is the only 4-blade razor of its kind. Well that's kind of easy since Schick is the only company allowed to design 4-blade razors. But still it provides a nice middle if you were not happy with 3-blades and didn't want to move to the bigger 5-blade razors.
And since more guys are caring about their skin more, they've also added a conditioning strip with Aloe and Vitamin E to keep your skin free of irritation. They also say it makes the blade glide easier up and down your face.
So that's all the details, let's talk about money. Saving money that is.
If you go to the store you will see that an 8 pack of these puppies sells for around $20. That comes out to about $2.50 a blade. This is about the average you will pay for most new razor blade cartridges. It's no wonder they give away the handles for practically nothing.
They know they will get you on a lifetime of purchases on the replacement blades. It's the same with printers and printer cartridges.
There are two ways to combat these high prices. You can use coupons that you find in your Sunday paper. But they don't always have a coupon every Sunday and they only come with one or two.
You'd have to buy more coupons online from eBay to get more.
The other way is to buy them on eBay. You can find them right now selling 16 for $26 including free shipping. That works out to $1.60 a blade. You save almost a dollar on each one you buy.
You're going to go through 20, 30, maybe 40 blades a year depending on how often you shave and how thick your hair is.
Then multiply that by how many more years you care to keep shaving and you can see that the savings really start to add up.
In ten years that is $400 you save. That's why they give away the handles so cheap...
So if you're ready to refill your Schick Quattro Titanium razors, shop smart and go on eBay and get you some of these razors cheap. Your woman will be happy you are saving money...so you can give her more...

I agree with Mr. Money Clip. You'll get a closer shave and more uses out of the razor. So in the end you'll save more money.
I use the Schick Quattro for at least four months before I decide to change to new blades. Believe it or not a drop of olive oil on wet skin gets better shaves than ANY commercial preparation, and makes any lubricating strip totally unnecessary, as well as helps preserve the edge. I know this kind of consumer schedule is exactly what Schick wants to prevent -- we've seen the you-need-a-blade-change commercial that imitates car repair advice -- but I honest have had the best shave with a Quattro than any other razor, and with almost zero shaving "incidents," e.g., nicks. Gillette, you can have your 5-blade model... The article is hilarious.

The one thing one needs to be careful of is to rinse the razor out frequently while shaving to avoid debris buildup between the blades, which are closer together than in previous models. I swish it in the basin filled with water.
The addition of the trimmer makes it harder to check for buildup, and may make it harder to clean (a double advantage for Schick, a value-added feature that encourages you to change blades more often because cleaning the blades is harder to do.) I guess I could buy compressed air in a can, but... is that getting a little obsessive? Oh yeah, I can use it on my computer too... yeah, especially the keyboard, which is looking pretty crappy. Hmm...

They might be more expensive than the regular razors, but I am sure it will work out cheaper over time as the titanium will keep sharper for longer.
