Schick Quattro Razors For Women

With Gillette having their 3 and 5 blade razors, Schick is right in the middle with their 4-blade or Quattro line of razors for men and women.  You can read about the legal battles over how many blades each can have on their respective razors but that's not very fun.

What is funny is the commercials Schick has for their Quattro razor with the trimmer.  Their "Mow the Lawn" commercial makes light of women shaving their bikini area and it's pretty catchy.  You can watch the videos below.

There are two kinds of Quattro razors for women, there is the newer one with the bikini area trimmer called the Trimstyle that you can use in the shower or the older one without the trimmer.

Both have 4-blades and 2 conditioning strips on the sides to ensure you get a close comfortable shave. Even though they do come with conditioning strips on both sides don't forget the shaving gel or cream. 

The gels provide moisture close to the skin which allows the blade to glide down your legs easily.  If you forget the gel you could get bumps as nicks becuase your hair was not moisturized enough and is irritated.

They also have pivoting heads that follow the curves of a woman's body.  You don't have to worry about shaving around your knees or underarms because the head will pivot around and leave you bump and nick free.

Now let's talk about saving money. In this day we all need to be concerned more about saving money where we can.  When we have to buy these razors to stay smooth it pays to shop around.

Let's take a look at some of the places you can shop and save money.

You can go to the store and find these razor blades are $2-$3 a piece. You can find a pack of 20 razor cartridges for $26 on eBay. They are $34 for 20 on Amazon.  And Amazon is pretty cheap.  Compare that to what you will find at the store. 

The Trimstyle razor sells for $11 to $14 on Amazon while eBay has it for $9.95 with free shipping.

You can see that there is some margin for saving money buying these razors.  You are going to be shaving your legs, underarms and biking area for a while so it pays to save money where you can.

That's money you can use for buying a new bikini or a cool pair of sunglasses for the summer.
