Best Kitchen Food Blenders

Do you have a kitchen blender yet? Once you get one you'll think how come you didn't get one sooner. Food blenders are very handy kitchen appliances that can make cooking and baking much easier. They can make entertining much easier too when you have guests.

My girlfriend bought a new blender a couple months ago at Wal-Mart and she made some margaritas and pina coladas with it. They came out delicious. The margarita mix was like a dollar and the tequila was a gift from a friend.

So those were some cheap margaritas. Even if we had to buy the liqour ourselves we still would have saved money if we went to a bar and ordered some. That's just one way to save money with your own blender.

You don't have to get the best kitchen blender on the market. Kitchenaid makes some very nice blenders but you can make do with a lower brand or even a cheaper model to save some money.

But if you do want to go with the best food blenders, Food and Wine magazine reviewed the top blenders and the Breville Die Cast Hemisphere was the best blender rated. Next was the GE Die Cast and then the Braun PowerMax.

Breville was listed at $300! Ouch. This was the top of the line blender. You can buy the same model on auction sites like eBay for almost half off the retail prices.

That's the thing about buying kitchen appliances online. You do not have to pay the high retail markup prices. You can get them direct and save money. And many come with free shipping.

Before you run out and buy a $300 blender, think about how much you are going to use it. How often do you cook? How often do you have guests over that like a margarita or pina colada or other mixed drinks?

If it's not that often then you do not really need a big fancy blender. You can find a nice $20 blender and get the same results.

But if you do plan to do a lot of blending then go ahead and get one of the bigger blenders with more features like crunching and munching and all the other things they do.

And when you shop online at auction sites, use some common sense. If the seller is brand new, avoid them. If the seller has negative feedback, avoid them. Do not get caught up in a bidding war. There are other auctions to buy from. Have a little patience and you can come away with a great deal on a new kitchen blender.

Hi I guess buying a small blender is always handy and more often less you tend you use them more when you know its easy to use and work with. You may find some nice blenders reviews on Testfreaks or even Vikings so that you can make good judgement before you put that margaritas in the glass and wonder what to mix it with :)
