If you are looking to buy the best universal remote control on the market you need to take a look at the line of Harmony universal remotes from Logitech. What they Harmony advanced Universal remote you can control anywhere from four all the way up to 15 devices.

On the low end you have the 510 Advanced remote which retails for $99.99 but it does not have a touchscreen nor is it rechargeable nor does it have a color display, it does not have very many bells or whistles. With this model you can only control five devices.

On the high end you have the 890 advanced remote which retails for $349.99 and comes with every bell and whistle except a touchscreen. With this model you can control up to 15 devices even without line of sight. Now that is a pretty nifty feature.

They all have some pretty cool features such as onboard intelligence, infrared and infrared learning, guided online setup, and one touch activity-based control.

If you have a new smart phone and love all the touchscreen features you would want to take a look at the Harmony one advanced Universal remote for the Harmony 1100. The Harmony one retails for $249.99 while the Harmony 1100 retails for $499.99.

While the Harmony 1100 is the fanciest model Logitech offers a does not have the best reviews on the website. It only has 3.5 out of five stars while the Harmony one has 4.5 out of five stars. The 510 to 890 have between 3.5 and four stars out of five.

One cool feature of Logitech's universal remotes is that you can put the stereo, the DVD player, the game stations, and even your cable boxes away and still control them through the cabinet doors or from up of 100 feet away.

These remotes are very user-friendly and provide a high value for your dollar. They are actually so easy to use but your wife can use them without asking you 100 questions. How cool is that? You can be up and running and in full control of your TV, satellite, stereo, DVD, game system, TiVo with one universe remote in minutes.

And the battery life is superb according to many user reviews.

So where do you get your own Logitech Harmony advanced Universal remote control?

You could go to the Logitech website and pay the full retail prices or a better option would be to shop on eBay and get a much better deal. Just to give you an example, the Harmony one remote retails for $249.99 but you can find it on eBay for $60 less for the same remote. So what I would recommend is to compare all the remotes on Logitech's website, read the reviews, and then buy the one you want on eBay at a much lower price.
