Buying The Best Convection Toaster Ovens

In the morning you have 4 kids to feed and they all want a piece of toast.  You only have a two or four slice toaster and the smaller kids are left out because they are not fast enough to get it from their bigger brothers and sisters. It's time to upgrade to a convection toaster oven.

A convection toaster oven does just that - it toasts what you put in it.  The best rated one comes from the good folks at Krups.  They have a 6 slice toaster that makes perfect toast every time.

If you want to make a grilled cheese sandwich with golden brown toast or if you want to bake some cookies without turning the oven on, you can use this convenient appliance.

With a 6 slice toaster oven, you will be able to feed more of your family quicker without them complaining. If you have a daughter who loves to make a grilled cheese sandwich just about every other day like I do, you can let her use the toaster oven instead of the regular oven and make a nice mess for you to clean up.

Food and Wine magazine recently rated the best convection toaster ovens and the number one was the Krups FBC4 6-Slice Convection.  Next came the Dualit Mini Oven Convection and the Hamilton Beach and Cuisinart Convection Broiler.

The prices ranged from $75 all the way to $250.  These are retail prices.  If you'd like to save 30 to 60% off the retail prices, you should look at the deals on eBay.

You can find the top name brand ovens from Krups, Cuisinart, and Hamilton Beach.

Why would you want to spend up to $250 for a convection oven when you already have a conventional oven?

One reason is time.  They warm up faster and that means you can cook faster than a conventional oven.

You can also save time on cleanup because it is smaller. It can fit on your countertop and clean up is simple.

You can also save money when you use it to toast your sandwiches and have the deli style sandwiches you enjoy and spend $5 to $8 on.  You can make your own toasted sandwiches for a fraction of the cost at your deli.

So if you are looking to save time and money then a convection toaster oven will be a good addition to your kitchen.  You can feed your family quicker in the morning when you have toast and oatmeal and you can get a better start on your day instead of rushing out all over the place. We like the Breville smart oven. The pre-sets and the auto eject tray are nice additions to have.
